Dear Evelyn,

 

We went to Blooming-Normal to see your Grandparents right after your daddy got off work on Sunday.  I got to drive because Daddy had to study for the journal club.  You were a good girl on the road.  You cried a bit and then slept all the way down to Bloomington.

 

First, we stopped by at your Great Grandparent’s house and said hi to them.  We haven’t seen them for a while.  We knew that they were dying to see you

 

After that, we went to Grandpa and Grandma Wiser’s house.  They were thrilled to see you, especially Grandpa Wiser

 

We didn’t do much.  Grandpa Wiser cooked lunch for us.  We were kind of hanging out; chatted and enjoyed the weather.  The weather was very nice for the summer.  People were out swimming and skiing.  You dad and I were going to do that too but we were slept and slept until 5.30 pm.  It was late so we skipped skiing part and jumped in the lake instead.  The water was nice and warm, that woke us up after a long nap.  By the way, your Grandparents were taking care of you while Mom and Dad took a nap.  I heard you guys went for a long walk.  You were awake and looked around the whole time.

 

 

We had supper with them before we headed home.  On the way back, we stopped by at Grammy’s house to say hi to them.  Grammy was anxious to see you even though she saw you the day before.  We didn’t stay very long because we had 75 miles to go.

 

 

We got home about 10.30 pm.  Daddy went to bed but Mommy and you had to stay up a little longer.  Then we went to bed!!

 

On coming Wednesday, you are having a doctor appointment.  I am excited for you!!!
