I am calling you Arunrassamee, อรุณรัศมี just to remind you that this is also your name. You are half Thai and have a Thai name. The reason why your dad and I chose this name is because we love its meaning.อรุณ in Thai means dawn and รัศมี means a ray of light. In other words, Arunrassamee means morning sunshine.Yes, you are our Morning SunShine!!!!!!
After we got back from Chicago, we both were really tired. You slept through the night until 7.30 am on Sunday.Mommy fed you, and then we all went back to bed.
Daddy got two days off last weekend. He was pretty happy about it because he hasnt had any days off for 26 days. He got to sleep in, and then he made a delicious brunch for us.He fixed sausages and French toast.I love French toast and Daddy did such a wonderful job!!!!
In the afternoon, we went to Illinois State Fair. From what I know, state fairs usually take place in the capital city of each state (I could be wrong though, maybe Daddy could help me later). This is Evey and my first time at the State Fair, but Daddy went once when he was 14 years old.
Anyway, there were a lot of booths, rides, and bands.Mommy and Daddy wanted to get on the rides, but you were too small - we'll have to wait for you to get older first then we can ride together. It is more fun that way!!!
Each booth sold different food.We had some ice cream, a corndog and a alligator kebab!!! The corn dog was good but the alligator was greasy, yuck!!!!I finished it anyway:)
Alligator on a stick !!!
With a sheep!!!
Daddy always makes fun of me, tough as a John Deere and works harder
We walked around with you in the sling. You were sleeping away.Me and your dad walked and walked for two and half hours then we headed home.It was fun!!!I had a great time!!!
I loved to read about your Day at the Illinois State Fair! It looks like you had lots of fun. You got to see animals, farming equipment, eat new foods, and see the rides and booths. Every year you go, Arunrassamee will do new things! Love and kisses and hugs x0x0x0x0x0x0x0 Grammy
