Dear Evelyn,

 Yes!!! you and me took a short trip to Chicago with Grammy.  We went up to see Aunt Jessie.  Aunt Jessie and Grammy wanted to give me a treat for my birthday and for being a new mother.  How generous of them!!!

This trip is your first time in Chicago well, not really!!! You have been there many times and even lived there when you were in my womb. 

 

We woke up and got on the road quite early on Saturday.  We picked up Grammy in Bloomington and drove to Chicago.  It was about four hour trip, pretty long but it was fun.  The weather was very nice.  There were a lot of people out on Lake Michigan.

Anyway, we went to pick up Aunt Jessie at her place then headed to the place called “Ulta.”  Let see what they have there!!!

After that we went to get my hair done at a place called “Magic Scissors.”  This is the first time in two years that I get a hair cut.

By the way, my hair was cut 12 inches long and I didn’t throw it away.  I let my hair grow this long because I have always wanted to donate my hair to “Locks of love,” a non-profit organization that provides hair for children who have long-term hair loss.  You can see more details on this web site. http://www.locksoflove.org/donate.html  When you get older you could donate your hair if you wish.

 

After I put make up on and had my hair done, we were going to get a pedicure and manicure but we ran out of time so we canceled the appointment.  We dropped Aunt Jessie off and headed home.  We stopped by to say hi to Grandpappy in Bloomington real quick and then drove home. 

 

 

 

 

 

I had a great time and I hope you did too.  I feel so good after I have changed my look.  Thank to Grammy and Aunt Jessie very much!!!

 

 

 

 

 

It was a long trip for you dear.  We left home at 7.00 am and got home at 9.00 pm.  And that night you slept from 10.30 pm to 7.30 am.  You must be exhausted from the trip. Holy cow!!!! My boobs hurt!!!!  I had to get up and pumped at 3 am.
