Dear Evelyn,

I talked to your dad yesterday.  He was a little upset for not be able to calm you down when you are fussy.  Even though he has used the same tactic as I do.  I suggested that it needs time and patience to soothe you. 

 

 

 

Evelyn, you are very good baby and easily to comfort.  I have been with you the whole time since you were born so I am kind of know what you need and how you feel.  However, I have trouble calming you down when you are tired and gassy.  When I come across to this situation, I would put you up on my shoulder, slightly pat your back and walk around the house.  I would walk and walk for at least 15 minutes.  I sometimes put the lullaby on and you seem to like it.  Then you would fall asleep. 

 

 

Putting you on your tummy is also help releasing gas from your stomach.  I know you don’t like it but I am doing it anyway.  There was also the time that you cried forever which was the day I drink two cups of coffee.  I won’t do that again my dear.  I am so sorry!!

 

 

 

Evelyn, I am writing this page today is because I wanted to let you know that we love you very much, especially Daddy!!!  He wants to know you.  He wants to spend time with you more.  Since his career is requiring lots of time so he has little time to rest and relax.  I swear my dear that when he has a free time, he would come to you.  He would play with you, sing, and read to you.  One of your favorite things that you like to do with Daddy is having him puts you in the Snugli and walk around the house.  You would look around until you fall asleep with out any crankiness.

 

 

 

Evelyn, Daddy loves us very much.  He is trying to spend time with us as much as he could.  He took us out for a movie last Friday and he also took us for a nice ride around the country on Sunday after he got done from the hospitals.  We also went to Washington Park together on Wednesday.  I was very happy.  I got to talk to him and caught up what we have missed in the past few days.

Mommy and Daddy are working hard for you, Evelyn.  Daddy is response for making an income for our future lives and Mommy is taking care of you.  She has to make sure that you are eating well, sleeping well, clean, and happy.  She also has to make sure that you have good education.  Mommy is reading books to you everyday.  She is also speaking Thai to you.  She is hoping that you would be bilingual.

 

Tomorrow, you and I are going to Chicago and will be back on Sunday.
