I cant believe it!! You are now 8 weeks old.Time flies, doesnt it?I remember 8 weeks ago, I was in the delivery room with the pain that Ive ever experienced in my life, but it was gone the moment I first saw you.Whenever the contractions started, your dad would tell me to breathe, in through your nose and out through your mouth!I looked at him with the angry face and an idea of punching him on his face popped up in my mind. I thought that, dude!! I am in pain, stop bossing me around.Dont worry I didnt hit him:)Thinking of this story always makes me laugh.Anyway, I am working on my labor experience and I will put on this blog when it is done.
Let see what my eight-week-old daughter can do:
She can sit up right for three seconds by herself with out any support but pillows (maybe it is an accident!!!)
She focuses on objects or whoever talk and sing to her.She can also play by herself, but most likely she loves to be held and needs attention.
She is very observant. She would be in a snugli forever if you walk around the house with her.She loves looking at things!!!
She can lift her head up 90 degrees and turn her head around, such as following her mommys voice or toys.
She can soothe herself by sucking her thumbs.Putting her hands in her mouth is also sign of learning or experiencing new textures besides nipples and pacifiers.
She tends to express her feeling such as like, dislike, and happy. She can coo.Yes!! She can laugh and smile at her mommy now!!!
She develops her routine.Taking short naps at day time and sleep longer at night. She eats more often than before.
Mommy is also trying to follow the Bs concept that I created for you every night:
-Boobs: feeding
-Bathe
-Bundle up
-Books
-Boobs again
-Bed
What we are working on together is tummy time. Mommy has a difficult time to give you one because you cry to death every time she puts you on your tummy. She tries her best EB!!!!She wanted to let you know that she is not going to hurt you!!!
EB, I stopped drinking coffee now and I am glad I did because I can see that you are less fussy and sleep better at night.
EB, on August 12 is Thai mothers day.I called your Grandmother and told her that I love her.I also thanked to you for letting me be your mother and making me realize how much my mother loves me.Thanks again my dear!!!
