EB,

I always wanted to write about the baby shower that I had so that you can see how lucky you are to have good friends and families.  Your dad and I feel very fortunate to have them.  They are very generous to us.  They give us a lot of baby’s gifts and good advice.  We got most of the baby’s gear and clothes from the baby showers.  We also have been receiving gifts from friends and families who live faraway in the mails.  We only got to buy a few things.  Mommy whishes she could tell you what we got and who we got it from.  It would take hundred pages to write down.  However, I already wrote some of them on your baby book.

 

Here are three baby showers that I had:

 

The first one is from the office where I worked.  It was on April 1, 2008 at one of the restaurants in downtown Bloomington called “Central station.”  It was a surprised party actually.  One of my girlfriends at work, Erika, asked me out for dinner.  She mentioned that I was going to be alone on my third wedding anniversary which is on April first so she wanted to take me out for dinner.  I didn’t realize that she had a good plan in her mind so I decided to go out with her after work.  Here I was, walked into the restaurant and saw all the girls and Grandma Wiser sat there.  I was like “what???”  They all went “surprise!!!!!!!”  I let my tear out my dear.  It was great feeling.  I love those girls, they are cool people.  Here are the pictures from that day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The second party is from the Wisers and their friends.  It was on April 12, 2008 at Grandpa and Grandma Wiser’s house.  It wasn’t a surprise shower but it was great!!!  This party was hosted by Grandma Wiser, Aunt Pat, Aunt Patty, and Aunt Peg.  I enjoyed the company, food, and games very much.  One of my favorite games is making birthday cards for you.  Each of us had to make one card from choosing your age, zero to eighteen, and had everybody sign their names.  The cards are kept at Grandma Wiser right now and she already sent one to you which was the one I made.  The card says “Welcome to the Yellow house.”  You’ll be getting the cards every year until you are eighteen.  How cool is that????  Here are the pictures of the shower!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The last one is from The Traubs.  It was on May 17, 2008 at Bloomington Country Club.  This one was hosted by Aunt Mary, Aunt Mary Jane, and Oma( you Great Grandmother)  It was nice to meet and get to know some of the Traubs.  Here are the pictures!!!
